What does it include? Sanitas International Students
Sanitas International Students is a health insurance plan for international students who are pursuing their studies in Spain. This insurance covers all the medical needs of international students during their stay in Spain (a minimum of 3 months and a maximum of 1 year).
General medicine, paediatrics, nursing services, general emergencies.
Cardiology, dermatology, endocrinology, neurology, gynaecology, traumatology, ophthalmology, oncology, psychiatry, etc.

Contracting conditions
Our Sanitas International Students policy meets the student-visa requirements for entry into Spain, namely:
The student must have comprehensive health-care insurance.
The insurance must be without copays.
It must have no waiting periods so the student can use it from day one.
It must include repatriation coverage.
Waiting periods This product has none; all services are active from day one.
Copays Sanitas International Students is a no-copay product.
Contracting age Aimed at students 14–59.
Discounts 4% for annual payment.
Payment type Annually, except 6-month stays which are paid half-yearly.
Policy requirements
To take out this health-insurance policy your course must last more than 3 months. Contract duration matches your study period in Spain and the policy is individual. During online sign-up you must provide:
If you don't have an address yet, you can use the university's address. Once you have your own address, you can update it in the Sanitas APP.
A valid ID for the insured (NIE or passport); if the policyholder differs from the insured, another ID (DNI, NIE or passport).
Proof of enrolment (acceptance letter or registration) and a copy of your passport if you don’t yet have an NIE.
Requirements to purchase Sanitas International Students
A residence card or passport is mandatory.
Provide proof of studies to be undertaken in Spain.
